Esta pequena flor é uma vitória.
As Masdevallias não são as orquídeas mais fáceis de cultivar e de florir ainda menos. Requerem temperaturas baixas, muita humidade, arejamento. Bastantes cuidados. Já tenho Masdevallias há uns dois anos e nunca tinha tido uma flor.
Este ano, com o terrário, consegui a minha primeira flor de Masdevallia. Infelizmente perdeu a ‘antena’ da sepala esquerda, mas mesmo assim é muito bonita.
E já repararam como é complexo o interior da flor?
This small orchid is a victory.
The Masdevallia are not the easiest orchids to grow and flower. They like low temperatures, high humidity, good air flow. Lots of care. I have Masdevallias for more than two years now and never had one flower. This is my first one. It’s not the best flower as it has one incomplete sepal but even though is very pretty.
And have you noticed the interior of the flower? So complex…
