These brazilian plants are from the Bromeliaceae familly but are terrestrials. They should be kept in a pot. The soil should have good drainage and good humidity. Ideal temperatures are between 16-29ºC. It’s flowers are surprisingly beautiful.
They are also related to the pineapple plant.
